LiveJournal’s dead. Facebook is full of my co-workers. Twitter only gives me 140 characters a pop. Blogspot is for my ‘real’ writing. So here we are.

I’m Sarah Bella - Bella to my friends, Sarah to my mother. It’s not my real name. I never want to see my real name again. I describe myself as a freelance writer, but that’s just another term for ‘over-confident creative writing student’. I share a house with my friends in Brunswick. I struggle with my mental health. I stock shelves at a bookshop to pay the bills. I like nothing more than eating a good cooked breakfast at three in the afternoon.

By night I transform into my dazzling alter-ego, Bella DuBois, and smash bitches on skates for my local roller derby league. Don’t tell anyone, but DuBois is actually plagued with as much self-doubt as daytime Bella, and can often be found crying in the change room at half-time.
